Verbena officinalis
This beautiful fresh Moroccan oil is steam distilled from the leaves.
It has a fresh, green lemony aroma changing to a sweet fruity-floral in the dry-down.
With its fresh uplifting aroma, Verbena is both a sedative and tonic, helping to banish depression, reduce stress, relax and refresh the mind and body.
It’s also been reported to be useful as a digestive, an antiseptic and insecticide – a great essential oil to use during the summer months.
On the skin, it may reduce puffiness, relax tight muscles, tone and soften the skin – please read caution below before applying to skin.
Caution – this oil may be mildly phototoxic and skin sensitising: avoid exposure to direct sunlight or sunbed rays for 12 hours following application of the diluted essential oil to the skin.
