Mentha piperita
An aroma that is fresh, cool, pungent and sweet. Clean and minty, this oil is best known for it’s calming of the digestive tract, useful for nausea, indigestion, colic and flatulence upsets. It may have a cooling/warming effect on the skin and can be useful for headaches, mental fatigue, muscular aches and pains, tired feet, respiratory functions and to cool chicken-pox. It has been used as a refreshing skin tonic.
Use in the bath, shower, massage, aromaburner, steam and direct inhalation and compresses.
Caution: Do not use during pregnancy.
